Limit Ad Tracking (LAT) is a privacy feature introduced by Apple for iOS devices starting from iOS 10 in 2016. It provides users with the option to opt-out of personalized advertising by preventing app developers and marketers from tracking their device-specific Identifier for Advertising (IDFA). When LAT is enabled, the IDFA is obscured, and attribution and conversion events are deactivated, ensuring users do not receive targeted ads. Android users can access a similar setting under Ads in the Android Settings app.
